The NeDiPa project aims to develop a systematic approach to the difficult heritage of the Holocaust in Central and Eastern Europe.

In our activities we involve organizations, people and initiatives operating in the area of remembrance and care for Jewish heritage in Poland, so that we can continue to work together and that the effects of the project will serve the entire community and all parties. Over two years, 2022-2024, we will organize 29 events - trainings, conferences, commemorations, consultation meetings, and artistic initiatives in major and smaller cities in Poland.

Our actions are based on a hypothesis that if we foster practice-based culture of remembrance & participatory commemoration practices as a joint local effort of communities, Jewish and non-Jewish, with support from decision-makers, then Polish society will genuinely integrate difficult Jewish heritage into local – and subsequently European - memory cultures which contributes to more inclusive societies and strengthening democracy.
